Connecting
As Megaman Mush is a MUSH, it is possible to connect to it via raw telnet. However, given the design of most telnet programs, it is highly suggested that a MUCK, MUD, or MUSH client be used for connecting to M3.
Suggested clients include:
Windows:
- Mush Client, a shareware client that is by far the most popular client for Windows, is now totally free to download and use!
- Muck Client is another useful client, and completely free.
Unix:
- Tiny Fugue, under the GPL license, is a freely downloadable unix pure text client.
Macintosh:
There are many more MUCK, MUSH, and MU* clients out there besides the one above, so choose your favorite.
Once you have your mush client, you'll need to connect to M3. Set the address or IP or location to megamanmush.com and the port to 1997. You'll be greeted with a text sign like below.
As the directions state, you can connect with either a guest account or with a character that you have applied for and have been approved.
