Community portal

This is the Community Portal for the MUSH. It includes articles that are subjective/opinion pieces as well as general information for the wiki.

Community Articles

To add a page to this area, add Megaman_Mush: before the article name when creating the page. An example would be Megaman_Mush:Heroism.

Articles

 • Heroism - An article written by the current player of Scarface (19:37, 1 July 2009 (UTC)) about what it means to be a hero.
 • Bloopers - The inevitable bloopers reel.

Guidelines

Templates

Use the following templates by including name at the start of the wiki entry.

 • Stub - stub This template is for articles that have very little information. Articles marked with stub should be improved or possibly deleted if they've not had any information added in over two months.
 • Outdated - outdated Articles marked with this tag are either from the old wiki or haven't been updated in a long time. These articles need to be updated so they're in line with the way the game currently is.
 • Neutrality - POV This should only be used when the objective facts of an article are in question. If someone decides to rewrite history to their personal view of it, that warrants the use of POV. If someone creates a subjective article outside of the Community Portal, that also warrants a POV tag.
 • Infobox - This page includes how to setup the tabled box to the right on most character pages with various information about the character. Unlike the first two, check the template itself for how to use this on your character's page.

Posting Guidelines

Posting to the Wiki is very easy. Pages can be edited here by any contributor with an account and it isn't likely that people will get angry if you make a mistake. However, in order to lighten the load on your fellow contributors, please observe the following guidelines:

 • If you see an article on the wiki with the Stub or Outdated tag, please either add to the content or update it to being current.
 • Cut Scenes should be added to the section.
 • Moving over logs from the old Wiki is also always welcome. Logs should be linked within the user page of the originator of the log. They should have at the bottom of any log page.
 • Moving over old non character pages such as Jargon files and Lexicon related files from the old Wiki is encouraged, if you are the sort of person with the inclination.
 • If you are making a page for a character who currently has a player, even if it's being ported from the old wiki, make sure it's OK with that player before adding any content. People tend to monitor their own pages and will revert edits that they don't like, but it's better just to keep the drama low in this regard!
 • Do not make a page with information that you don't know anything about as a player; let people write about what they know to keep the wiki clean of misinformation. In general, it's OK to port over old pages, but if the page is out of date and you aren't sure how new the information is, use the outdated flag. If the article you make has very little information, use stub.
 • If you want to make pages for unplayed FCs, please use the current character block template, and the FC's current +finger as posted on the MUSH. If you encounter any finger information that is grossly out of date, it's probably better to contact the staff about that character's +finger information before porting very old information to the wiki.
 • If you are adding a profile page for a character that is DEAD, be sure that the character is flagged in the category
 • Articles that are subjective/opinion-oriented should be added to that always neglected Community Portal section, not as a normal wiki entry. When creating the page do Megaman_Mush:Article Name, instead of just 'Article Name' to add it to that section.

Wiki To Do List

 • Create a Logs and Cut Scenes self-sorting mechanism much like that used by Character Files.
 • Expand the Lexicon section to include any unique places, terms, or scientific/cultural events from Megaman Mush.
