"You can't cage my soul if my mind can still dream."
When one thinks of the Old Men of the Robot Masters, not only would most people think of Dr. Wily, but many would also think of Drill Man. While its true that he is fairly young compared to quite a few of the other Robot Masters, Drill Man has the grit, determination, and sheer annoyance factor which makes him an old man. You see, all Drill Man ever wanted to do, was to cut down trees, wear hig....go on adventures. But, as he fulfils the not-so glorious position of hole digger, his body isnt really that strong, or that agile...though, he does have a powerful weapon in the form of his Drill Bombs, but, other than that, he just isnt suited for that sort of thing. And the fact that hes one of Dr. Wilys Robot Masters doesnt give him as much time to do things that he wants to do, so he grew bitter, jaded, and old. He complains, he annoys, he thwacks stupid young people for being stupid, and young. However, he does have one small weakness. As he wants to go on grand adventures and such, he considers adventurer stories, of any kind, to be an acceptable substitute, and he loves to watch or read as many as he can. Sadly though, this doesnt make up for his attitude, and, when in danger, the other Masters can usually be relied to forget about poor old Drill.
