"...inflammable means flammable?!"
Dust Man likes to think of himself as Dr. Wily's protégé, an android programmed with all of the legendary genius's intellect and cunning but without pesky elements like sanity or logic. The truth, though nobody has the heart to tell him, is that he was just made as a cheaper solution than having to constantly pay a janitor to sweep up the bases the faction seems to cycle through. Possessing an ego rivalling the size of Duo's fist and barely enough intellect to make a sandwich let alone a super weapon Dust Man fills the role of scapegoat, punching bag and comic relief in the faction mostly because his brothers have so far been unsuccessful in trading him to the Hunters for a sack of walnuts. Despite all this he is still feared because his brothers know if he's the only medic in the lab that day then they are in a world of hurt.

Dust Man was made by Dr. Wily so he didn't have to hire a unionised janitor to sweep up the base (he hates unions). Over time Dust Man's programming went a little wrong, probably due to having to live up to the pressure of sucking all day, and he started referring to himself as a genius. Nobody has fixed it, because on the whole its considered an amusing improvement and even if it not it's just Dust Man so who cares?
- Dust Man is an highly skilled infiltrator, providing he only intends to clean an enemy's base and has no idea what he's doing. He has only been discovered once, by Layer, who threw him out without his broom. Meanie.
