Character Data

"Just because the monkey is off your back doesn't mean the circus has left town."

Profile

Kalinka is trying to come out from the dark side of celebrity in an effort to mend her relationships with others. The daughter of brilliant Russian industrialist Pavel Cossack, Kalinka was used as a way of threatening or manipulating her father for much of her youth. As a teenager, Kalinka rebelled in gradually more extreme ways until she finally ended up on her own. Reveling in her notoriety, Kalinka ignored the dangers of fame until it almost destroyed her. At her lowest point, Kalinka was possessed by a FMian, lashing out at the world that she felt had used her up. In the aftermath of that incident, Kalinka has tried to clean herself up and rebuild her life around her family and real friends. Fundamentally insecure, Kalinka often comes across as haughty or bitchy to people she doesn't know well. At heart, Kalinka is well-meaning, but the process of recovery has left her emotionally fragile.
